Beginning January 2, 2023 the Hartsprings office will be open Monday – Friday from 8am to 2pm for dropoffs.

If you have donations outside these times, please feel free to drop them off at our partner store, Savers Thrift Stores.

Hartsprings accepts up to 5 boxes of non-cloth goods per pickup date.

If you have more than 5 boxes of non-cloth goods, please visit our partner, Savers, where you can bring them to the Savers Community Donation Centers located in West Springfield, MA and Manchester, Newington, Orange, or Brookfield, CT, and they will accept your items on behalf of Hartsprings Foundation.

  • Clothing and textiles make up at least 7% of the total amount of waste in global landfill space.
  • Only 15% of textiles are collected for reuse or recycling in the United States.
  • 66% of unwanted clothes and textiles are landfilled.

What Can I Donate?

Hartsprings Foundation accepts items that have been “gently used” and are in good/reusable condition.

These include clothes (for all ages and genders), books, toys, games, small appliances and electronics that are in working order.

Drop-Off Bin Locations

  • At one of our drop-off bin locations, at our many donation centers.
  • At our offices at 266 Cold Spring Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089 (open 7am-2pm, Monday – Friday)
  • Donations can be dropped off in West Springfield, Massachusetts and Manchester, Newington, Orange,or Brookfield, Connecticut at Savers Community Donation Centers.
